This year the HLC is unveiling the new City Landmark Plaques. These updated plaques feature the city seal, construction year of the building, and a description of the structure's historic significance. These new plaques recognize our city's most important buildings while they denote them to visitors and tourists enjoying one of our walking tours. Thanks to the festival, we are able to award our first two plaques to the Carriage Inn and to Charles Washington Hall. If sold out, the 1786 Dinner & Dance proceeds will fund the purchase of another two plaques. We have a total of 20 landmarks to acknowledge, which brings the total funding needed to $4900...Every ticket purchase helps the Charles Town Historic Landmarks Commission get closer to thier goal of acknowledging our town's historic past...
Don't miss this historic event!
