How does this work??

So I have read the magazine for the past few months and decided to check it out online...But, I am not sure how this works. Is it like a facebook where you friend request only the people you know?? I would love to get to know some of the moms but I am not sure about the IAMMODERN protocol. I would love it if someone would let me know :) Thanks!!

You are right, we need to have a welcome protocol explaining all the wonderful features. Well, the concept is pretty simple. We bring all the moms relevant to your interest and geographical location into one place, like Facebook, but minus the few aliens using it.... This site is for moms, mom related subjects, services and most importantly for connecting.

So, you see someone interesting, say hello become friends. Read our blogs. You blog. Tell us your favorite and least favorite things around town and in your life. We want to be your friend.

Join a social outing. We looove our Happy Hours. There is one coming up on the 26th in Tyson's. These are not networking events. They are social, make a friend, playdates for MOMS.
