After reading these reviews I decided to give Salon O Tony a try. I'd been wearing my hair close to the same way for nearly 20 years and was ready for a change.
On my consultation trip last week, I met with Mustafa. He's very friendly and knows about curly hair which is great because most of my hair is curly. Hormones are taking their toll on the top of my hair which is now straight.
Mustafa cut about four inches off my hair. It didn't look bad after he styled it, but as expected my husband was not thrilled. I have to say I couldn't get it to look the way I wanted and since I have a little extra weight on my face, it didn't seem very flattering to me. A couple of people gave compliments, but hard to say if they really meant it or not.
Mustafa also suggested the Brazilian Keratin treatment to help keep the frizz down. After doing some research I decided to give it a try. So, a week later I headed back to Salon O Tony and it's a good thing I'd been saving my birthday money! After chatting with Mustafa for a few minutes, we decided that we would highlight my hair as well. After highlighting and a color glaze, Mustafa began the Brazilian Keratin treatment.
Leaving the salon, my hair was totally straight -- maybe a little too straight as far as the bangs go. It will be this way until Friday when I can wash it. It will be hard to not wash or at least get it wet for four days. But, the results are fabulous! My hair is silky smooth and the color turned out very nice.
Mustafa gave me three cards to hand out and within two hours I'd given them all away. Plus, I told a lady at the bus stop about it and posted on my Facebook page.
I'm looking forward to what my next visit to Salon O Tony has in store for me.
