Who I am......
I am a mother to three wonderful kids. Alana is my oldest, she's 22 and a graduate of NYU. She's now working with the University as an administrative assistant to the newly appointed Chancellor of NYU's soon-to-open campus in Abu Dhabi. My middle child is Marina, and she's a freshman at the University of Colorado/Boulder! My son, Andrew, is 15, and a boarding student at Broumana High School in Lebanon. We are all obsessed Red Sox and Patriots fans.
I become an empty-nester a little sooner than I anticipated. Not one to sit around and twiddle my thumbs, I took on a few extra projects. I have been a Romance Specialist for three years, and it is truly my passion. I do in-home parties for women where I teach them tips and techniques to help them spice up the romance in their lives; it's all very entertaining and educational! I absolutely love what I do, and I'm convinced that I have the ability to make a real difference in women's lives. I feel very blessed to have an opportunity to empower women from the bedroom to the bank!
Being a Passion Parties Consultant lead me to become the "Romance Guru" for the I Am Modern website. It's here that I get to answer your questions! I'm the resident 'sexpert' if you will. I am also an Account Executive with the magazine, and worked closely with the women of I Am Modern Magazine to put together the very successful MNO Shopping Party for Moms.
I love meeting new people, and the work that I do puts me in front of many women on any given day. I am happiest when my calendar is full of events and parties, especially Passion Parties! Saudi Women winning the right to sell lingerie
This article intrigued me, as I spent 11 years living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and also endured the irony and embarassment of having to buy lingerie from mostly ignorant third-world nationals, men employed by the Saudi's for just that purpose!! Hard to imagine, but it's true, and the practice continues. But apparently change is in the air.

OK.....this one is straight out of Ripley's Believe it or Not! What would posess them to try something this extreme? Obviously, they didn't call their local Passion Party Consultant!! I would have been able to equip them with something powerful AND safe! LOL!!

Avie! Med Spa
I don't usually post blogs about places I frequent; however, when I have a really amazing experience, it deserves to be shared.
I recently went to Avie! MedSpa here in Leesburg after seeing their ad in IAM and receiving a discount coupon. It's close to my home, and Kim was highly recommended. I was nervous, as I'd had a previous experience with laser treatment that left me with permanent scars and memory of intense pain. Shame on you, Washingtonian Magazine
On May 1st, Washingtonian Magazine will hit the newstands featuring a cover of a shirtless, obviously unauthorized photo of President Obama. They've clearly 'sexed' up their cover with the intention of selling more copies.
This cover photo would not have received my vote, and I intend to boycott this issue. I prefer my Presidents looking.....well, Presidential. And that means mostly clothed.
