Whose Kids Are These Anyway?:The Chronicles of the Indie-Mom of Comedy (WHY YOU MUST PURCHASE THE NEW DVD!)

Do you ever wake up and wonder, who is this dude and the endlessly thirsty and hungry kids that have unlimited access to my home? It happens to me from time to time, I fall back into undergrad and feel as if I am living some, thirty-some-thing's life by accident. And then it all comes back to me when my wonderful, amazing, husband will reach over and say, "Me" (his nickname for me); "I hear a lot of screaming in there, and someone is crying, I knew that I needed to...wake you up so you can make sure everything is ok!" YUP! This is my life, not another episode on TLC. I don't know about some if you, but, I could've never planned my life this wonderfully. To be a wife, mom and professional Comedienne/Actress/Writer, is absolutely unbelievable. It's as if one day I received a kiss on the forehead from the Creator himself! So, when I get a sippy cup hurled from the second row of car seats with perfect aim and I hear, "Mommy she is touching me" 40 times in 5 minutes, and my husband says, "Did you call the Veterinarian and make an appointment for the dog ?; Call the bank about that discrepancy in our account ?; Book our flights to Chicago and remember that we have a dinner date with a new client tonight ?" ; I don't lose it! On the contrary, some days, I actually shed a tear or two, because at that very moment, while sticky from the war waged from the back seat and numb from the crying, I know that there are scores of people wanting and maybe hoping for a moment of motherhood and paired-parenthood. Knowing this, allows me to BREATHE and remember that I am right where I am supposed to be! In the front seat of life, moving deliberately toward my destiny daily and living the life I have IMAGINED!!
